The Yoder Group, Inc. was founded in 1957 as Yoder Brothers Construction by brothers, Carl and Robert Yoder. Today the company remains family-owned and operated, with the third generation actively involved in management. The Yoder Group employs more than fifty talented staff members and remains committed to excellence, innovation and quality. Our attention to detail, competitive pricing and commitment to energy efficiency in building provides customers with excellent service and value.
Originally founded as a single family home builder, The Yoder Group has grown to include:
- Construction and General Contracting Services for single, multi-family and commercial building through Yoder Builders, Inc.
- Residential Property Management and Affordable and Luxury Housing Leasing through Warrior Run Development Corporation
- Acquisition and Land Development through Yoder Development Group, Inc.
The Yoder Group serves the entire state of Pennsylvania with our building and land development capabilities and provides rental and property management in central, north central and northwest Pennsylvania.

Over the years, the Yoder Group has planned, developed, built and managed homes and properties for people of all financial means. Our strong relationship with local and national housing agencies testifies to our desire to provide many viable housing options for Pennsylvanians. The Yoder Group is committed to the betterment of our community as evidenced through our staff’s involvement.
Warrior Run Development Corporation has been a member of the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing (CARH) for more than twenty-five years. Robert Yoder served on their Board of Directors, as president from 1998-2001 and as chairman of the board from 2001-2004. Robert also served on the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s affordable housing committee for nine years, holds Rural Affordable Housing executive designation, is a member of the Pennsylvania Housing Advisory Committee (PHAC) and served as the Housing Finance Chairman for the Pennsylvania Builders Association in 1996.
Nathan Yoder has served on the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s affordable housing committee, serves on the board for the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing and is a council member with the Turbotville Borough.
Both Michelle Johnson and Betty Douglas are Leadership Susquehanna graduates. Michelle has served in in the local chamber of commerce, with Junior Achievement, and as a board member for the Susquehanna Council Boy Scouts of America.
Additionally, the Yoder Group is committed to our community and environment through use of alternate energy sources and energy-efficiency. The Yoder Group generates all the energy for our corporate office with nearly 900 solar panels, which we installed and maintain.
