Supportive Services

Warrior Run Development Corp. (WRDC) has been managing affordable apartment complexes since 1984. In 1999 WRDC began a new venture in support services. Elderly and multifamily complexes with initial funding from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Rural Housing Service. Tax-Credits, or Market rate have seen the benefits to service coordination. Support service coordination entails partnering with all possible community, state and federal agencies to meet each resident’s individual needs at little or no cost to the resident or the complex itself. The need may be prescription assistance, transportation assistance. financial assistance, housekeeping assistance, nutrition assistance, or many more. Whether empowering elderly residents to maintain independent living or assisting families to become self sufficient, WRDC will keep vacancy ratings low; therefore reducing the cost for maintenance related issues. The residents of the complex benefit as well as the management and owners themselves.
